Looking for reasons to be optimistic about Evan Turner's impact as the newest Indiana Pacer?  He did this earlier in the season to LeBron James:


All kidding aside, Turner was having a career-year from a statistical standpoint in Philadelphia, putting up 17.6 points per game.  Maybe you take that number with a small grain of salt due to the fact that the Sixers are a complete dumpster fire, but we know the guy can score.  He'll be asked to be a bench scorer, and could play multiple positions (according to Larry Bird).

It's unfortunate that Danny Granger didn't get to see this rebuild come to fruition, but his mediocre performance in 29 games this season made this trade a positive move for Bird & Co.
