The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office cancelled the Washington Redskins' trademark on their team name today, saying that it was "disparaging to Native Americans."  The decision re-ignited the debate today across the country of whether or not the Redskins should be forced to change their name.

Personally, since the term "Redskin" isn't acceptable in any other societal reference outside of referring to the NFL team, I'm in favor of changing it.  Then again, I struggle with the debate because I'm not Native American (most seem to be mixed on the name).
