Chris Cornell, frontman of the bands Soundgarden and Audioslave, died last night in Detroit. He was 52. He was discovered in his room at the MGM Grand Detroit, following a show at The Fox Theater, according to police.
The Wayne County Medical Examiner today (Thursday) determined the cause of his death to be suicide by hanging. A full autopsy has not been completed.
