The shift in focus from free agency to the upcoming draft happened a few weeks ago, but the Colts are still shopping around. Defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins is perhaps the best player still on the open market, and he was in town today:
Hankins has been productive in four NFL seasons (all with the Giants), starting all 41 games he appeared in since 2014 and recording ten total sacks. He appeared in the Top 50 of Pro Football Talk's Top 100 NFL Free Agents last month.
He would be an immediate upgrade on the defensive line, where the Colts are extremely thin.
