Luck Out Six Weeks?

There is increasing concern from fans that Andrew Luck's shoulder won't be ready to go for Week 1, but could it be even worse than that? CBS' Jason La Canfora had this to say in his latest column on the Colts during his visit to Indianapolis:

Is this really a report, though? The Colts opened camp with Luck on the PUP list, and that gives themthe option of putting him on PUP to start the season. So, yes, of course they're considering taking that route. However, that doesn't mean Luck will inevitably be placed there.

The alternate scenario is that Luck avoids PUP (an automatic six-week shelving), but misses 1-3 games to begin the year. That would obviously be more survivable for the Colts, who have a light opening against the Rams, Cardinals, and Browns.

Or, hey, he could be perfectly healthy and ready to go Week 1! Right? RIGHT?!
