Paul George is gone to Oklahoma City, but not many believe that will be his long-term destination.
The former Pacers star is still slated for unrestricted free agency next summer, and it appears that the NBA's best team will be a major player in the PG sweepstakes:
As the article points out, it would be impossible for the Warriors to sign George outright and keep everyone, given their salary cap limitations. However, George is a nice insurance policy should Klay Thompson walk next year, or Golden State could always shed some salary (Livingston? Iguodala?) via trade.
With the Lakers and Clippers rumored to be targeting their own superteams next summer - hello, LeBron! - you can't blame Golden State for staying aggressive.
