The Boilermakers are just ten days away from their opener, under the lights at Lucas Oil Stadium against nationally-ranked Louisville on FOX, and seem excited about a regime change. While it may time to get going, new head coach Jeff Brohm is confident that things will turn around. Brohm talked to us after practice about his outlook for 2017, a renewed emphasis on in-state recruiting, and opening up against his alma mater and hometown:
Kirk Barron is one of the lone offensive lineman starters that is a holdover from a season ago. The junior captain is earmarked to be Purdue's starting center, but has other interests... like theater. He talked to us about that and the Boilermaker offense:
