In order for Danica Patrick to return to the Indianapolis 500 this May, she needs two things: a sponsor and a ride. She secured one of those today, thanks to an old friend:
GoDaddy spent many years with Danica in both IndyCar and NASCAR, a run that included over a dozen Super Bowl commercials together.
She still needs a ride for both Daytona and Indy, but with a sponsor already on board, and the cache (albeit diminished) she still brings, it's hard to imagine she won't find a seat for both races. The two most popular rumored landing spots for Indy are Dreyer & Reinbold and Ed Carpenter Racing, but a possible reunion with Bobby Rahal has been kicked around as well.
