The Indians are finally ditching the Chief Wahoo logo after the upcoming season:
While I think we've overreacted at times to some Native American imagery, i.e. Chief Illiniwek, there's really no grey area with Chief Wahoo. The red skin and goofy smile are awfully hard to justify as not racist under the guise of "tradition!"
I'm not sure if Cleveland is going to roll with the block C as their primary, but I'm hoping they find a proper alternative.
