It's been a long road back from preseason ankle surgery for Glenn Robinson III, but the key Pacers' rotation player took a major step towards returning:
OFFICIAL: The #Pacers have assigned Glenn Robinson III to @TheMadAnts, as a rehabilitation assignment from his left ankle surgery in October.— Indiana Pacers (@Pacers) February 1, 2018
As a part of his rehab assignment, he will play in today's Mad Ants game against Wisconsin. Info: https://t.co/Lb3iy9UD0K pic.twitter.com/aNBFbGPaYL
Getting some spin in Fort Wayne will hopefully help GRIII shake off the rust. While Robinson isn't a frontline player, the Pacers could use his athleticism and defensive ability. Hopefully, we'll get to see him back with the Blue and Gold shortly after the All-Star Game.
