Friday night's bombshell that the FBI has Sean Miller on tape discussing a $100,000 payment to a recruit has him on thin ice at Arizona:
Due to the fact that Archie Miller is Sean's brother, some Hoosier fans are concerned there could be a connection there. He was on Sean's staff for two seasons (2009-11) before taking the Dayton job. In the initial Yahoo! Sports report, which most believe is just scratching the surface, Archie Miller's name wasn't mentioned. In fact, the only two names mentioned with Indiana ties were Jared Jeffries (2000-02) and former assistant Chuck Martin (2014-17), who was on Tom Crean's previous staff.
Obviously, just because Archie is Sean's brother doesn't mean that he's also paying $100,000 to secure blue-chip recruits. That said, fans at every major program are on edge right now, and given the family connection, it's hard to blame the IU faithful for being nervous.
