Could Isaac Haas play through a fractured elbow? That's the million dollar question as Purdue prepares for their Second Round game against Butler in about an hour.
Dan Murphy has the latest update:
Allie LaForce said earlier today that it would be a game-time decision for the senior:
Haas will be a game time decision the team confirmed with me. We tip at 12:10 ET on @CBSSports and I’ll let you know final decision before that hopefully.— Allie LaForce (@ALaForce) March 18, 2018
Here's the latest from a few minutes ago via Gregg Doyel:
Me to Matt Painter: Yes or no?— Gregg Doyel (@GreggDoyelStar) March 18, 2018
Painter shakes his head: “Oh he’s not going to play.”
That said, Matt Painter claimed the other day he didn't think it was "realistic" for Haas to actually play, but we'll see what the doctors say. Purdue is looking to get to the Sweet 16 for the second straight year and fourth time overall under Painter.
