Purdue Students Working on Haas Brace

We all know that Purdue has a reputation for its engineering school, and it appears the basketball program is asking them for a huge favor: a brace for Isaac Haas.

The big man broke the elbow late in the Boilers' first round win over Cal State-Fullerton, and head coach Matt Painter has almost completely shut the door on Haas playing again in 2018. However, that isn't going to stop his fellow students from trying.

Purdue has the final game of the Sweet 16 - a 9:27p tip on Friday - so Haas has the maximum amount of time to rest. But, as Painter said, a broken elbow is a broken elbow and his chances of playing again during the NCAA Tournament are minimal.
