Danica's Day/Career Ends on Lap 67

Danica Patrick's career came to an anti-climactic end today.

The trailblazing driver, who electrified the crowd in 2005 by becoming the first woman to lead laps at Indianapolis, got loose and crashed on Lap 67 to end her day. It's only the second time in Patrick's Indianapolis 500 career that she failed to finish the race (2008 the other):

Danica's legacy will be an important one for women in racing, but it's unfortunate that her last race (and career) had to come to an end like this.
