I never expected Carl Lewis to be defending Purdue on Twitter, but here we are.
The all-time great and nine-time Gold medalist went to bat for the Boilermakers after they were narrowly defeated in an epic finish in the NCAA Women's 4x400 championship over the weekend. While Lewis didn't mention Purdue by name, he took issue with non-track fans/media saying they choked:
