We heard all the accolades about Notre Dame's Quenton Nelson coming into the NFL Draft: a once-in-a-generation prospect, a 10-time All-Pro, a surefire Hall of Famer. However, perhaps his highest praise of the bunch came from this week's most recent news - his Madden rating!
Besides being the highest-rated rookie, Nelson is one of only four first-year players to grade out above an 80: Saquon Barkley (82), Baker Mayfield (81), Roquan Smith (81).
(Obviously, this means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things, but we thought it was interesting.)
