Catching Up With: Buster Douglas

Buster Douglas shocked the world in 1990 with a stunning knockout of undefeated Mike Tyson in Japan, but one one-sided title defense later, he was out of boxing completely. Ballooning to 400 pounds, Douglas nearly died from a diabetic coma - it was then that he turned his life around, shedding the weight and getting health again. He went 8-1 in nine bouts after returning to the ring in 1996.

Unlike every one of our previous "Catching Up With" guests, Douglas has no Indiana ties, but he's back in his hometown of nearby Columbus, Ohio, teaching kids the sport he loves.

We talked with Buster about the high highs and lowest lows of his professional career and the fulfillment of working with youth. Oh, and he also made Query a promise about meeting up later this month when Jake is in Ohio with the IndyCar series. Take a listen:
