IU Flips Four-Star Avon RB

Indiana has never defeated Ohio State in Sampson James's lifetime - anyone 30 years old or younger wasn't alive to see the Hoosiers' last win in the series. However, Indiana just scored a big recruiting win over Ohio State by flipping James to the Hoosiers"

James, a four-star running back from Avon, made the change today, ironically following yet another double-digit win by Ohio State over IU. He's the #3 player in Indiana, but his offers list is a who's who of college football powers: Georgia, Michigan, Penn State, and Florida State were all on the list.

Here's what James had to say via Twitter: “First of all I want to thank God for the ability to play the game of football. It has been a crazy process and I just want to thank my family, friends and all of the coaches that believed in me as a player and a young man. With that being said I will be decommitting from Ohio State and committing to The Indiana University. Excited for an opportunity to become a part of a great program.”
