Purdue Has Been a Headache for Ohio State

Purdue is a 13-point underdog to Ohio State, who is ranked #2 in the country, and that line is probably about right. The Buckeyes are the #2 team in the country, and while Purdue has played well in recent weeks, they've just clawed their way to .500. However, all of that said, Ross-Ade Stadium has been a bit of a house of horrors for Ohio State football in the 2000s - the Buckeyes have lost three of their last four trips to West Lafayette and are just 3-4 since the Drew Brees-led Boilers took the Big Ten title away from them in 2000. Take a look:

Take that success with a grain of salt as Urban Meyer wasn't part of any of those games and I'm not sure what teams led by Drew Brees and Kyle Orton have to do with this current Purdue team. That said, there's no question Purdue has been a bit of a headache for Ohio State (think Pitt-Notre Dame) and playing under the lights against a reinvigorated team/fanbase might not be easy for the Buckeyes.

Add in the element of Tyler Trent's inspiration presence and the "Cancer Sucks!" chant, and perhaps... just perhaps... we could be in store for a special night in West Lafayette.
