Fernando Alonso is coming back to Indianapolis!
The two-time Formula One champ is hugely popular across the globe, and he did a wonderful job endearing himself to IndyCar fans with the tremendous respect he gave to the Indianapolis 500 and its fans during his debut run in 2017.
It's long been rumored that the 37-year old would return to Indy, but this may not be all for his 2019 calendar. Query has alluded to the fact that Alonso could try his hand at the Daytona 500, too, but that obviously has yet to come together.
One-offs like Alonso or Kurt Busch have added a lot to the world's greatest race, so it'll be terrific to see Fernando back this coming May!
