Purdue fans have been sweating out the last few days as speculation swirls around Jeff Brohm being courted by Louisville, his hometown and where he starred as a college quarterback. But, another key figure with the Boilermakers also calls the Derby City area home:
The freshman phenom is having an All-American caliber debut season in West Lafayette, but like Brohm, starred at Trinity High School before committing to Purdue. In fact, WKRD's Howie Lindsey told us on the show earlier this afternoon that the expectation is if Brohm takes the U of L job that he'd bring Moore with him (go to the 8:30 mark):
Losing Brohm alone would be devastating, but can you imagine waving goodbye to an elite talent like Moore, too? Not to mention the impact this would have on Purdue's heralded incoming recruiting class for 2019, which includes other Louisville-area products like star WR Milton Wright.
Let's hope the dominoes don't fall this way for Purdue.
