Tyler Trent, who inspired millions with his fight against cancer, and whose story made waves nationally after Purdue’s shocking upset of #2 Ohio State in October, has passed away.
The sad news was made public earlier this evening:
Although Tyler’s time on this Earth is now over, he accomplished his goal following his second cancer diagnosis: do more for cancer research. He talked about that with us on the show in early October, and there’s no question he went above and beyond in reaching that goal. Trent helped raise millions of dollars for his cause over his final several months, and inspired everyone who has been touched by this terrible disease.
