It's always weird to see former teammates playing against each other... especially when it's the former franchise player versus the former fan-favorite.
That's what happened last night in Los Angeles, as Paul George and the Thunder visited Lance Stephenson and the Lakers. George had a huge night (37 points) in a 107-100 OKC win, with some of those coming on this shot over his old buddy Lance:
I'm glad Westbrook was in a celebratory mood despite his 3-for-20 shooting, but it cuts me deep to see him (or anyone) rip off Lance's air guitar. I'm still very much pro-Lance, so I hate to watch him get clowned like this.
Side note: Don't look now, but George is actually having a monster first half in OKC - career-high 26.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game - and the Thunder, like the Pacers, have the third-best record in their conference (24-13). He'll still obviously have to prove it come playoff time.
