Tyreke Evans isn't going to play for the Pacers next year. He isn't going to play for any team.
Evans has been booted from the league for violations of the NBA's drug policy:
Fans will likely remember O.J. Mayo's banishment from a few years ago, and he hasn't been heard from since. This is technically a two-year banishment as he can be reinstated after that.
It's apparently a "drug of abuse". My feeling on marijuana (if it's marijuana) are indifferent, but I hope it's not something more serious than that, and whatever drug it is, it's clearly a problem. Regardless, those are the rules... so he has to face the consequences.
UPDATE: "Drug of abuse" does not include marijuana.
